Garmin GHA-15 height advisor approved for certified aircraft.

This radar-based GHA-15 height advisor, previously limited to experimental aircraft, is now approved for certified general aviation. The system provides AGL altitude readouts with aural callouts to improve approach and landing situational awareness.

Garmin's GHA-15 height advisor is now approved for certified general aviation aircraft, expanding beyond its original experimental and light sport aircraft market.

The radar-based system provides above-ground-level (AGL) altitude readouts with aural callouts, designed to improve situational awareness during approach and landing. It integrates with Garmin avionics to display accurate height information and announce altitude callouts.

The GHA-15 was first introduced in July 2023 for experimental aircraft at US$1,995. The certified aircraft approval represents a significant market expansion for the product.
