A Magenta Standard badge means the hardware held up under our framework. Here's what you can do with it.
We evaluated your product against the five-pillar Magenta Standard framework and awarded it a Recommended result. You're welcome to use any of the badge variants below on your website, product pages, or marketing materials.
What it means
Every Magenta Standard review is conducted independently, without compensation from the manufacturer. A Recommended result means the product satisfied all five pillars:
Mechanics: Travel & Resistance
Weight, resistance, travel, and tactile precision measured against what you encounter in a C172, Piper Warrior, or similar GA aircraft. For non-control hardware, whether the device reinforces correct pilot behaviour.
Tactility: Eyes-Outside Operation
Whether controls can be located without looking, labels remain legible in dim conditions, and tactile feedback — clicks, detents — builds operational confidence rather than undermining it.
Integration: Fit & Friction
Practical placement and stability. USB port positioning for tight setups, grip stability under load, and mounting orientation options that prevent device movement during use.
Procedural Value: The Syllabus Test
The pillar that matters most. Which specific training skills does the hardware address — radio discipline, mode awareness, power management, visual scanning — and does real sim-to-aircraft transfer occur?
Price: The Dual-Instruction ROI
Cost justification against dual instruction expenses. The core question: can the hardware prevent one or two remedial instruction hours (US$400–500/hour) to justify its purchase price?
Badge variants
Three formats are available. Download the SVG file for each variant — all files are vector and scale cleanly at any size.
Primary badge
The main endorsement badge. Use this at the end of a review article, on a product page, or in a press kit where the full verdict needs to be clear at a glance.
Download SVG →Square seal
Square format for product packaging mockups, brochures, or anywhere a compact, self-contained endorsement mark fits better than the horizontal badge.
Download SVG →Inline tag
A slim inline tag for email footers, review summary cards, or sidebar widgets where a discreet badge suits the context better than the full version.

You may use any of these badges freely in digital and print contexts. We ask that you link back to the original review on Magenta Debrief where possible, and that the badges are not altered, recoloured, or combined with other endorsement marks.
