Primary field: Bodensee Airport Friedrichshafen (EDNY)

The show venue's home field sits 5 km from the exhibition grounds. Mandatory PPR slot booking opens February/March 2026 via online pre-registration. Demand consistently exceeds capacity; slots are distributed randomly by computer. Once registered, you'll receive automated email notification when your booking window opens.

Pilot-in-command receives one free day of fair entry. Free shuttle runs between airport and show entrance.

Alternate fields with shuttle service

AERO UL Airfield Markdorf — 14.7 km

Ultralight only: three-axis, trikes, gyrocopters up to 600 kg MTOW. No TMGs. PPR required via online registration with planned arrival/departure times. Schengen aircraft only (no customs). Free half-hourly shuttle to show. No refueling available. Grass strip 500 m.

Mengen Airfield (EDTM) — 53 km

Aircraft to 5,700 kg, helicopters to 6,000 kg. Motor gliders, gliders, microlight approved. Asphalt runway 1,566 × 30 m with night/approach lighting; grass runway 700 × 30 m (UL and tailwheel only). Customs and migration available with advance notice (PPR 2H and PPR 3H respectively).

Konstanz Airfield — 74 km via catamaran

Aircraft to 4,000 kg only. No helicopters. Grass runway 760 × 50 m. Catamaran connects Konstanz and Friedrichshafen hourly year-round; car ferry runs Konstanz–Meersburg every 15 minutes.
